|   | Education : About Us : PRC : Background PETRONAS PETROLEUM RESOURCE CENTRE (PRC) Background The PETRONAS library was setup in 1974, as a small reference centre, at the Prime Minister's Department in Jalan Dato' Onn. The library has, since then, been relocated four times to PETRONAS Building at Jalan Pudu in 1975, See Hoy Chan Plaza in 1982; to Dayabumi Kompleks in 1985, and now to Level 4, Tower 1, PETRONAS Twin Towers. The PETRONAS library was renamed the Petroleum Resource Centre (PRC) in November 1998 to reflect its core business as a centre for information on oil and gas business. PRC is a corporate library whose primary role is to provide an effective information service that nurtures learning and the creation of new knowledge. PRC strives to provide PETRONAS employees access to strategically vital research, journal articles, news and data pertinent to the corporate business needs. Other Links |
