Technology Solution for Speciation of Chloride along the Liquid Hydrocarbon Value Chain

BACKGROUND OF THE CHALLENGE

PETRONAS is seeking for technology solution for chloride speciation (inorganic and organic) quantitative measurement in crude oil and hydrocarbon process stream for technology chloride removal development.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION

In fulfilling such expectation, the proposed technology solution should meet the following requirements:

  1. Identify and map chloride location and concentration distribution across the supply chain from upstream to various process streams.
  2. Application of advanced analytical measurement technology to quantify and determine chloride speciation (inorganic and organic chloride) in crude oil and liquid hydrocarbon process stream.
  3. Predictive and prescriptive online chloride monitoring (optional).
  4. Should comply to the Technical Data Specification.
  5. Must include relevant technical data information on the technology solution proposed and not limited
to product specifications, design, formulae, drawings, standard operating procedures, standard of
    quality and quality control procedures.
