Criteria

We’re looking for startups with scalable solutions relevant to FutureTech themes, ready for pilot testing with strong market traction. Teams should have at least one committed founder, be registered entities operating for at least a year, and be open to deploying in the Asia Pacific market.

FAQ

Yes, the programme is open to startups worldwide, provided their solutions align with our themes and have applicability in the APAC region.

No, the application process is completely free.

We are looking for startups that have at least an MVP (minimum viable product) that can be deployed.

While we encourage early to growth innovation, we are focused on startups with an MVP or solutions that are ready for testing and pilot deployment.

The programme is hybrid, but there will be key on-site activities in Kuala Lumpur that require in-person participation.

Each startup will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, so you’re welcome to apply! If there’s a potential area for collaboration, we may connect you with our partners.

You will receive tailored mentorship, access to PETRONAS and corporate partners, resources, and opportunities to test and pilot your solutions, along with networking support to scale globally.

Funding is not guaranteed and will be provided on an opportunistic basis, depending on the alignment of your solution with industry needs and partner interests.

Graduating startups will have the opportunity to continue engaging with PETRONAS and corporate partners, pursue potential collaborations, and access a global network for growth.
