Some commitments are measured not by milestones, but by the consistency to return, engage and contribute year after year.
Three years on, PRPC's presence at Kapal Diraja Sultan Ismail (KDSI) Open Day Exhibition reflects more than an annual participation, it demonstrates a sustained commitment to staying connected with the communities and stakeholders who are part of Pengerang's growth story.
Held in conjunction with the Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) Young Recruit Training Passing-Out Parade Series 230/25 at Pangkalan TLDM Tanjung Pengelih, this year's exhibition provided another opportunity to strengthen partnerships, foster understanding, and showcase PIC’s role in supporting Malaysia’s energy and petrochemical value chain.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors gained closer insight into the PIC as one of Malaysia's largest integrated refining and petrochemical hub. Through interactive engagements, the team shared insights on PIC's integrated business ecosystem, operational excellence, and ongoing contributions towards community development. Visitors also learned about PETRONAS opportunities, including education sponsorship programmes, internships, and the Graduate Employability Enhancement Scheme (GEES).

The exhibition further highlighted PIC’s impact beyond operations through initiatives under Powering Knowledge, Uplifting Lives and Planting Tomorrow, demonstrating its commitment to education, community well-being, and long-term socio-economic development.
More importantly, the event enabled direct engagement with stakeholders. The booth also welcomed family members of the young recruits, providing an opportunity to introduce PIC and raise awareness of its contributions to the region

Questions were addressed on the ground, perspectives were exchanged, and understanding of PIC’s role within the local community was strengthened in real time. Such engagements remain essential in fostering trust, strengthening relationships, and ensuring stakeholders remain connected to PIC's growth journey.
As PIC continues to evolve, sustained stakeholder engagement remains essential in building trust and maintaining strong relationships with the communities it serves. KDSI Open Day is no longer just an annual touchpoint, it ensures PIC remains closely connected to its operating environment, supporting long-term confidence in its growth and presence.
