On-going solar installations in PIC and PAMER have capacities of up to 300 MWp, and the first phase is expected to be operational by 2021.
Environmental preservation is a priority in our operations. Green technologies and practices are built into our facilities. For instance, our water-related infrastructure enables sustainable water management practices that safeguard water resources and ecosystems.
Solar installations in various locations contribute to reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Exhaust waste heat from the Cogeneration Plant and CO Boilers is recycled to generate steam for running the steam turbines and process purposes.
All these and more effectively reduce PIC’s carbon footprint.
