Next on the agenda was the  tree planting at the HIVE where Tan Sri Dato Seri Fuzi, Dato’ Seri Acryl and  Dato’ Mazli Mazlan each planted a tree at the event. This is an on-going green initiative by the PIC to maintain the eco-friendly environment in and around its premises where a total of 10,000 trees is expected to be planted along the shore line and buffer zone of the PIC.

The delegates were then ushered to the Club House for light refreshment signifying the end of event.

The Marine Police Force (MPF)  comprises 31 officers and they patrol and secure the sea including 12.8km shoreline of the PIC.  Prior to the construction of the Marine Police Transit Base, the MPF takes 45 minutes to reach PIC from their existing station.  The transit base on PIC’s shoreline will facilitate fast response and make emergency operations more efficient as well addressing other security risks and threats from the waterfront.

On 18 March 2018 was another proud moment for PIC Security when three senior team members were awarded the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN).  Held at the Johor Police Contingent Headquarters, the team from PIC comprising Head of PIC Security, Encik Ramli Mohamad,  Deputy Security Managers Encik Khalid Abu Bakar and Encik Baharuddin Othman received the awards presented by Inspector General of Police (IGP), Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Fuzi Harun.   The PJPN recognises the contribution and sacrifices of both retired and in service RMP officers for the nation, especially those who served during the Malayan Emergency.
