Fraudulent Report Associating PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad’s MD/CEO in Bitcoin Investment

Kuala Lumpur, 29 June 2019 - It has come to our attention that a news report has been published stating the promotion of investment through an automated bitcoin trading platform claimed to be executed by PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) MD/CEO, Datuk Sazali Hamzah.

We wish to alert members of the public not to succumb to this fraudulent claim. PETRONAS, its subsidiaries and personnel are not involved or associated in any way with this investment scheme.

Relevant authorities have been informed on this matter.
