Fake Investment Scam Alert with Unauthorised Use of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad's Name
PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) has been made aware of an online investment scam devised by unscrupulous individuals or parties, that is currently circulating on Telegram involving the unauthorised use of our company name and old logo as well as the name and photograph of one of our Directors.
The message highlights a scheme that promises returns through investments in financial markets and cryptocurrency.
A police report has been lodged on this matter. Meanwhile, we appeal to the public not to respond to this scam and wish to stress that neither PCG nor any of our subsidiaries are involved or associated with any investment platform or scheme.
