The project “PETRONAS 50th anniversary & PETRONAS China 20th anniversary: Continuing a legacy together for our future” and the project “Student Voices 2024: Transform into Green, Thrive with Dream” emerged as a standout, winning various accolades at the 15th Golden Flag Awards and The 20th China Golden Awards for Excellence in Public Relations Award.

PETRONAS China played an active role in these core projects, partnering with Chinese collaborators to share the story of PETRONAS and China’s mutual success, innovation, and dedication to positive contributions on the global stage. These efforts enhanced PETRONAS’ brand visibility and reputation, reinforcing its image as a responsible multinational corporation.

2024 Global Icon Award

The PETRONAS Twin Towers, a landmark asset of the KLCCP Stapled Group, continues to shine on the global stage, recently earning the prestigious "Global Icon Award 2024" from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). 

This accolade places the Twin Towers as only the second building in the world to receive this honor, following the Burj Khalifa in 2010. This monumental achievement for the world’s tallest twin towers highlights their profound global influence as the towers are part of the Malaysian identity since its completion – a symbol of success in Malaysia’s city development and growth.
