SEEd.Lab
As part of PETRONAS’ sustainability agenda to create positive social impact to local communities, the Social Enterprise Education Laboratory (SEEd.Lab) initiative was born.
SEEd.Lab, powered by PETRONAS and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), is a social enterprise innovation hub dedicated to nurturing sustainable social enterprises by empowering and guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through end-to-end journey of startup. Over a 12-18 month period, SEEd.lab brings its participants through ideation, incubation and commercialization. This journey has nurtured the growth of eight impactful social ventures, each providing unique solutions addressing distinct social challenges.
Among these ventures are Teman, a compassionate elderly care companion service; Sejolly, a collaborative digital platform aiding therapists and parents of children with autism through home reinforcement video modules; and SAPOT, a peer-support system offering mental health services to young adults. Additionally, there’s ENOKU, dedicated to exploring employment opportunities for People With Disabilities (PWD), and Niagable, empowering street vendors with crucial financial literacy.
These ventures have already touched the lives of over 15,000 individuals, driving profound positive social impact. Presently, SEEd.Lab is embarking on its third cohort, driven by the vision to nurture changemakers and create a multiplier effect within our communities.
