The PETRONAS Twin Towers, a landmark asset of the KLCCP Stapled Group, continues to shine on the global stage, recently earning the prestigious "Global Icon Award 2024" from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). 

This accolade places the Twin Towers as only the second building in the world to receive this honor, following the Burj Khalifa in 2010. This monumental achievement for the world’s tallest twin towers highlights their profound global influence as the towers are part of the Malaysian identity since its completion – a symbol of success in Malaysia’s city development and growth.

National Oil Company of the Year

Asia Pacific Energy Capital Assembly by The Energy Council recognised PETRONAS as National Oil Company of the Year, for the second year in a row for its remarkable success within the dynamic energy sector across the Asia Pacific region. This award serves as a regional benchmark of excellence, recognizing outstanding contributions and breakthroughs withing the Asia Pacific region.

“The NOC of the Year” accolade was one of eight awards bestowed at APAC 2024. The award, evaluated by 28 esteemed industry experts, was honoured for PETRONAS innovative contributions, leadership in energy transformation and commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
