PETRONAS wishes to announce that Tan Sri Sidek Hassan has completed his tenure as Chairman of the PETRONAS Board on 30 June 2018, following the fulfillment of his extended three-year contract beginning 1 July 2015.
Tan Sri Sidek was first appointed as Chairman of the PETRONAS Board on 1 July 2012. Prior to assuming this role, he spent 38 years in the civil service and retired as the twelfth Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia.
PETRONAS would like to thank Tan Sri Sidek Hassan for his contributions and commitment in providing guidance and stewardship to the PETRONAS Board over the last six years.
We wish him all the best in his future undertakings.
